NGGR (pronounced N-G-G-R) is the first solo exhibition of Jupiter the Artist featuring over 10 new works from the Sacramento-based painter.

Through his semi-abstracted figures, Jupiter transverses the deeply physical & emotional discomforts that Black people experience in America while turning his gaze onto who’s looking. This exhibition intends to criticize the white gaze on Black lives and reveal how it distorts the viewer's perception. Through his use of line, color, and form, Jupiter has developed a style that is undeniably his own.
