Brandon Gastinell is a digital and visual artist, using materials such as wood, plastic, and canvas to create his pieces. Rather than staying online or just in print, he works to elevate the way we see digital media by combining visual elements that allow viewers to interact with the artwork.
Gastinell's will highlight consumerism by converting the gallery space into a grocery store. This interactive exhibition allows visitors to live shop with grocery baskets. Visitors will be allowed to touch, observe and purchase the art as if they were in a grocery store. Products such as “Yeezy Guts” (a redesigned Campbell’s soup can referencing Pop culture icon Kanye West). Or items like “Whole Lotta Bezos” (a cardboard box designed after former CEO now space pirate Jeff Bezos)
